If you exclude NXT, WWE went 11 whole years without seeing a 5-star rating from esteemed wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer with the last being that iconic fight in Chicago between CM Punk and John Cena.

Gunther's physical war with Sheamus at Clash At The Castle, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's emotional tag title win on WrestleMania Saturday and Gunther's chop fest victory over Drew McIntyre and 'The Celtic Warrior' on WrestleMania Sunday all gained 5 stars from the man himself.

While Dave's ratings are just the opinions of one man, it is an indication of where WWE's match quality was in previous years and how the in-ring action has skyrocketed since Reigns won the belt.
