One of the biggest changes the wrestling world has seen since Roman Reigns' title win is the sheer upgrade in celebrity involvement within the industry.

The real kickstart of all this actually happened a week before Payback 2020 at NXT Takeover XXX where former NFL punter Pat McAfee was defeated by Adam Cole in a match that turned heads both inside and outside the company. That really set the precedent for what was to come in the following two and a half years.

Despite Pat starting this upwards trajectory, it is Youtube star Logan Paul and Grammy award-winning artist Bad Bunny that have been the real drivers of this movement. WrestleMania 37 saw the first physical involvement from the pair as Paul took a stunner from Kevin Owens while the Puerto Rican superstar stole the show alongside his native friend Damian Priest.

Since then we have seen Logan Paul put on a showcase with Seth Rollins at this past WrestleMania as well as taking Roman Reigns to his limit in Saudi Arabia which shows just how far wrestling has come when you consider Logan hadn't made a single WWE appearance when 'The Tribal Chief' won the title. As for Bad Bunny, he is coming off the back of a show-stopping performance at Backlash which has further raised the bar for celebrities in wrestling.

Bad Bunny to dethrone Roman anyone?
