7. Kevin Nash - Hunger Games: Catching Fire
There's no doubt that Kevin Nash is the kind of guy who would make up a story about being in contention for a role in a high-profile movie. Like his former nWo pal, Hulk Hogan, Nash has a fairly sizable ego. At the premiere of Magic Mike (which Big Daddy Cool actually
was in), Nash "let it slip" that he was in talks to have a part in the second installment of The Hunger Games. According to USA Today, he prayed that "it's recurring, that he doesn't get killed." By that statement, it seems that Nash either didn't know which character he was to be playing, or he'd never gotten around to skimming the books to see what his fate would be. Speculation at the time was that Nash might play Brutus, a Hunger Games participant in his 40s. It might have been decent casting, but that part went to someone who is most definitely
not Kevin Nash. It's all good, though. That guy barely appeared in Catching Fire and was killed off in short order.
