4. An Interim Challenge For 'KofiMania'

"KOOOOOOOOOFIIIIIIIIIIII".

That'd be Joe's weekly war cry, just as it was AJ Styles' wife Wendy last summer. Fresh off beating Kevin Owens and emphatically winning with no shoes, Kofi Kingston needs a new challenger anyway. We can't think of anybody better than Samoa Joe come SummerSlam, or maybe Extreme Rules if WWE want to jump the gun.

That's a few months off however. In the short-term, Kofi needs another challenge to keep him occupied. Facing KO again sounds boring, so how about drafting Sami Zayn over to SmackDown as one of the weekly 'Wild Cards' and having him team with his old frenemy against remaining New Day members Kingston and Xavier Woods?

It's a distraction and nothing else, but it might work. Tag matches at Super Show-Down and Stomping Grounds between that quartet sound a damn sight more entertaining than re/three-peating Kofi vs. KO just for the sake of stretching things out and killing time.
