8 New Directions After WWE Money In The Bank 2019

3. Roman Reigns Finally Facing Shane McMahon

As hinted at in the intro, Roman Reigns is in line to square off with Shane McMahon. There's just no way 2019 is ending without this match happening.

Shane has been annoyed by Reigns' gate-crashing SmackDown and punching his father, and he's enlisted Roman enemy Elias as his running buddy recently. Plus, McMahon is strolling around calling himself the 'Best In The World', and that's sure to get on dignified babyface Reigns' nerves. There may be trouble ahead.

WWE blatantly believe Miz vs. Shane has another round in it. That was the reason for MITB's t-shirt-slip finish on Sunday, and all signs point towards a rematch in Jeddah or (if patience is the virtue proverbial phrasing claims it is) an Extreme Rules kicking could be coming McMahon's way.

We'd actually go the other way and have Shane win the feud. That prepares him for Roman and means those matches will have a little more credibility. Miz is over enough as a face that he won't be hurt by losing anyway. It's not like anyone really sympathised with his daddy.
