4. LA Knight Going Heel

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time.

LA Knight's clearly not getting that elusive World Title as a babyface, and Saturday felt like an ‘end of season’ moment for him as a face. He spent the build talking about how Roman Reigns needs others to help him win, but then lost clean as a whistle to the ‘OTC’. There's nowhere else to go with LA as a good guy after that.

Triple H said during the post-show that he was seriously impressed by Knight’s performance. Most would’ve been, but he needs a fresh wrinkle. Dude’s been baby for years now without really getting anywhere, and he can't keep losing big time matches like this, so a heel turn could be the tonic LA needs to go next level.

It’s either that or he’s Razor Ramon’d in terms of his status on the card. Nobody wants that glass ceiling treatment. It's why Scott Hall decided to leave the WWF and head to WCW. Well, that and guaranteed money. Could Knight pick up his ball, punt it on over to Jacksonville and start kicking it around with Tony Khan in AEW? Sure, but that's unlikely, and besides: He wants to win top gold in WWE.

Turning heel could unlock the World Title door for LA. Could. Nothing's for certain, but he's only going to sink back down the pecking order if he stays baby. What's the alternative? Wait another few years until Roman needs a 'B' tier PLE challenger, then put the 'Tribal Chief' over yet again?
