8 New Records Set At WWE Royal Rumble 2022

4. Shortest Run To Victory

This was a record that felt like it was going to stand forever, or if it was broken, it would be by a matter of seconds or a couple minutes at best.

In 2010, Edge set the modern record for shortest run to victory when he entered at #29 and won the Royal Rumble in 7:19. That record got shattered Saturday when Brock Lesnar drew #30 and ran through the field in 2:32 to win his second Rumble. That’s almost mathematically impossible when you consider that he also tossed five men in the process of winning.

We say it occasionally and even wrote about it, but this is now probably a record that will never be broken.
