8 Next Generation WWE Superstars And The Roles They'll Play

7. Tyson Kidd

Like Cesaro, Tyson Kidd has experienced his share of success on WWE€™s main roster. He is a former World and WWE Tag Team Champion alongside his Hart Dynasty partner, David Hart Smith. Unfortunately, Kidd€™s prominence on the main roster began to dwindle and his momentum was halted following an injury. The former tag champ was forced to sit at home for nearly all of 2013. In that time, WWE€™s newest reality television program, Total Divas, premiered on the E! Network. As a result, Kidd became more well-known as Natalya€™s husband than as a WWE performer. In November of 2013, Kidd made his return to WWE television alongside his wife. However, he was quickly sent to the NXT developmental territory due to a lack of impact on the main roster. Back in NXT, Tyson became arrogant, brash, and a bit pi**ed off. The newly heel Kidd has been unable to capture the NXT Championship, but has continued to captivate fans with his in-ring prowess. He€™s also continued to annoy the NXT audience and its competitors with his new attitude. Tyson Kidd has proved that being sent down to NXT can be a good thing. His time in the developmental territory has afforded him the opportunity to reinvent himself and add a new shade of color to his persona. This new gimmick will undoubtedly help Kidd upon his eventual return to WWE€™s main roster. And while he may not be the most likable guy in the NXT locker room, he will undoubtedly play an important part among the Next Generation of superstars.
