4. Rick Smith, S.W.A.T. - Reno 911!: Miami (2007)

Reno 911!: Miami was slammed by critics (Rotten Tomatoes describes it as "slapdash and shallow"), but the movie version of the Comedy Central show at least got The Rock's cameo right. Playing against type, Johnson made an appearance as a SWAT Agent who wasn't quite as capable or tough as he initially appeared when he showed up to brief the team. When the bumbling Reno 911 crew arrive in Miami to try and thwart a terrorist attack, The Rock wasn't in the least bit impressed and rattled off plenty of clichéd advice to them. For God knows what reason, he decided to pull the pin out of a grenade during this inspirational speech, only to drop it and take slightly too long in putting the pin back in. The Rock was blown to smithereens in bloody fashion, a mistake it's hard to imagine his Fast and Furious character Hobbs ever making. As celebrity cameos go, this was good. It's ultimately just a shame that it happened in such a terrible and easily forgettable movie.
