Let's just say it like it is: Kurt Angle NEEDS to resurrect Team Angle and have American Alpha's Chad Gable and Jason Jordan as his new prodigies. American Alpha have taken NXT by storm since the Autumn of 2015, and the NXT Universe have taken the pair to their hearts while picking up on how similar they are to Kurt Angle himself. Chants of "Gable... Jordan" to the tune of the Olympic gold medalist's classic WWE theme have lifted the roof off many an arena. The similarities are there for all to see: first off we have the attire. It's basically the same as Angle's, just with a twist. And then we have both men's amateur backgrounds, which don't quite measure up to Kurt's, but are still very impressive all the same. Heck, Gable even competed in the 2012 Olympic Games. No gold medal, but he competed. And it's Gable who is the modern day representation of Angle in WWE. He's got the in-ring ability, but he also has that charming mix of confidence and goofiness that Kurt called upon during his earlier years in WWE. Let's face it, the trio are a stable made in heaven, and they need to get together now!
