8 Pointless WWE Title Changes

Nia Jax dropping former BFF Alexa Bliss on her back mid-celebration was nothing that couldn't have been accomplished had the latter merely retained, instead of newly won, the Raw Women's Title against Sasha Banks this past Monday.

So Sasha's week-and-change title reign, therefore, appears to have served precisely no purpose, and worse than that, it's potentially harmful to the 25-year-old's credibility.

After all, Alexa told us in the build-up to SummerSlam - and during their confrontation the following night - that Sasha was a weak champion, whose short-lived reigns invariably ended with defeat to a more a ruthless adversary.

Since it was Bayley, not Sasha, who was originally scheduled to challenge Alexa at SummerSlam, you can't really escape the conclusion that this was simply another spur-of-the-moment decision by the writers.
