8 Questions That WWE Fans Will Inevitably Ask Themselves

5. What The Hell Are They Wearing?

Okay so this question is not unique to today€™s WWE. If you watch an old WWF PPV from the 1980s, you can't help but wonder how Hogan was the biggest star, because he looks so insane. Back then Hogan was a huge, musclebound, sweaty, behemoth who had fine doll's hair, a handlebar moustache and the skin of a hot dog. As if that's not terrifying enough, he was wearing what looked like a canary-yellow diaper in the ring, with huge matching boots no less. Once you get past the terrible entrance music, the insane commentary, and the overall coke-fuelled campness, you will inevitably find yourself asking 'how this could have ever gotten over?'. The outfit choices of most WWE wrestlers today are inexplicably no less ridiculous - with the notable exceptions of Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens, John Cena, and maybe a couple of other lucky souls. Besides these few, the attire of the roster is questionable, to say the least. For example, Neville will come to the ring wearing only a pair of tiny purple undies with boots, like he forgot most of his outfit. To make things worse, he will then wear a t-shirt which somehow makes the outfit feel even more nude and weird. Oh, and a cape. There is something just so unsettling about a man in a t-shirt and no trousers - he must surely realise this, right? And don€™t even get me started on monsters like Ryback or Big E wearing those hideous leotards. I always felt it was a bit ridiculous to buy Goldberg as being tough when he came out wearing undies and boots, but in comparison to the multi-coloured gymnasts€™ outfit that are wrapped like shrink wrap around the terrifyingly odd frames of those two guys, Goldberg looked positively badass. When you take into consideration outfits like those of the Wyatt family (boiler suits), the ex-Shield members (flak jackets), and the New Day (everything), you really do have to ask yourself €˜what the hell are they wearing'?
