I don't know if you've noticed this (you almost certainly have), but Roman Reigns is an incredibly smug WWE superstar. Barely a match, promo, or backstage interview passes without the Big Dog breaking into one of his mocking smiles, cocking his head to one side, or referring to his own toughness. A good point of contrast to use here is Daniel Bryan. Bryan was gradually built up as the biggest ass-kicker on the entire roster, but still retained a sense of genuine humbleness and likability. Now Reigns has been built as even more of an ass-kicker, but he's far too aware of it. Like Cena, Roman's character has that air of entitlement; you can tell that he believes he has some sort of God-given right to be around the title scene at all times, regardless of the up-and-coming competitors around him.
