It's easy to forget at this stage of his career, but Roman did debut on the main roster as a heel. The Shield first started out as mercenaries for CM Punk, allowing him to keep his hands on the WWE Championship by hook or by crook. Now that all three men have gone their separate ways, it's easy to see who hasn't quite been able to let go. Rollins underwent a spell as a corporate champion (and biggest heel in the company), while Ambrose quickly became the loveable lunatic we all know today. Reigns, however, hasn't really changed at all. He talks a little more, but the attire, theme music, and crowd entrance remain largely the same. Could this mean that Reigns' character has an unforeseen heelish depth? He's been the least able to let go of his past as a hired gun, which could potentially explain some of his ruthless behaviour in recent months.
