8 Reasons Roman Reigns Should Become WWE Champion At Survivor Series
3. A Shield Triple Threat Match At WrestleMania
I mentioned the possibility of a Dean Ambrose heel turn helping set the stage for storylines which take us right through until WrestleMania, and I was of course referring to the long rumoured and much desired Triple Threat match between The Shield. Since splitting up, these three have interacted a fair bit, whether it's been in tag team matches, singles contests, or even those two cruel teases that they might reunite. Despite that, they've yet to face off in a Triple Threat match, and an end being brought to this ongoing rivalry (which allows them all to move on from each other until that inevitable Shield reunion) would be smart. The perfect place for this to go down is obviously WrestleMania, so why not set the stage for that with a victory for Roman Reigns at Survivor Series? There are any number of ways WWE Creative could handle this one, and while rumours of Rollins squaring off with Triple H in Dallas complicate things somewhat, it would be a shame for it not to happen. Having Reigns as champion, Ambrose as the Royal Rumble winner - something fans are unlikely to boo after two years of terrible booking at the event - and Rollins somehow also getting involved is one way to go, but if this match is on the cards, WrestleMania is the most deserving stage, not forgettable PPVs like TLC and Fast Lane.
