8 Reasons Roman Reigns Should Become WWE Champion At Survivor Series

4. He Finally Has The Support Of Fans

While there's no denying that Roman Reigns still gets more of a mixed reception in some cities than others (that recent appearance in Chicago was brutal), he's now a long way off what followed the Royal Rumble. It may have taken a while, but Roman has won back the majority of fans who turned on him last year when it became clear he was being given a major push, and while he's not quite yet back to being a fan-favourite, the Superman Punch-throwing Superstar is getting there. Of course, letting him go out there and tear it up with Bray Wyatt inside Hell in a Cell and generally just being the butt-kicking badass everyone loved from The Shield has done him the world of good. Had he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, live crowds could have very well killed his career, but there's now enough support there for him to have a run with the title. Seth Rollins has done such a fantastic job as a heel that the cocky champion finally being dethroned is sure to help the person who takes him down get over in a major way, and that's just what Roman needs to make a run with the title a success. Putting the belt on early 2014 internet darling Roman Reigns would obviously have been better, but after the brief bump in the road which saw everyone hoping Daniel Bryan would replace him at WrestleMania, now is the right time to pull the trigger on a title reign.
