8 Reasons Wrestlemania Is Incapable of Failing

7. Must-See Programming

Even if the road to WrestleMania turns out to be massively underwhelming and fan sentiment falls through the floor, the most ardent critic probably wouldn't be able to ignore that voice in their head. That voice is their inner wrestling fan telling them if anything worthwhile is going to break through this tide of awful booking, it's probably going to happen at 'Mania. Nobody knows better than Vince does that late March is the time to pull out all stops, and he can usually be trusted to do just that come the big night. In fact, when it comes to the biggest swerves of all (i.e. when the company actually goes off-road to please the fans,) lately they've been reserved for the Showcase of the Immortals. Call it a fail-safe or whatever, it is pretty much a reality of WWE's current creative model and, more often than not, it makes for a compelling watch. Or at the very least, one you'll wish you had seen live.
