8 Reasons Wrestlemania Is Incapable of Failing

6. It Only Needs About Two Good Matches

If we've all learned anything from WrestleMania Play Button, it's that a strong finish will generally make an otherwise unremarkable show, if not a terrible one, pretty damn good. With WrestleMania lately running about seven matches long, there is now more than ever a reliance on the big ticket matches to carry the whole card. Basically, the only bouts that fit that description would be main events, Undertaker matches (what few we have left,) and Brock Lesnar fights. Even a bad 'Taker bout doesn't doom the production, but since his presumable final match is one with major implications, in the case of this year's one it will need to deliver. Beyond that, as long as the last match of the night is a proper showstopper (and/or packs a big enough twist,) it's unlikely any other match or angle, within reason, is going to ruin the experience. Meanwhile, the rest of the show can just about get by on the lustre of various 'WrestleMania moments', special guests and video packages. We know WrestleMania isn't going to be chock-full of five star classics and only really needs one or two great matches on it to be considered a success.
