8 Reasons You Need To Start Watching TNA Again

1. Opportunities

One of the most frustrating things over the history of TNA was how it seemed every mid-card talent was stuck. There was no upward mobility, because the former WWE guys had a firm grasp on all the top spots. The company is now finally giving opportunities to their roster.

Recently Eddie Edwards won the X-Division title, and has engaged in a solid feud with Bobby Lashley. He’s done a great job in the role, and the crowd has been receptive to him in his promotion. Tyrus went from a bodyguard to a singles wrestler, getting to show off his promo abilities. The past year has also seen Eli Drake emerging from a background player in The Rising to one of the most entertaining heels in the company.

If TNA had done this sooner with their wrestlers, they would likely be in a far better place right now. Still, it’s nice to see some of the mid-card finally get something. Now talent can arise to the top of the card, which is something that just wouldn't happen before.

TNA has continued to improve this year; it may just be the right time to give them another shot.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
