8 Reasons You Need To Start Watching TNA Again

2. The Hardy Brothers

Never in my life would I think I’d ever say this, but Matt Hardy is the most entertaining person in wrestling right now. He’s done some great work in the past, like his run with Jeff in the Attitude Era, and his V1 character but he’s doing something that is completely unseen on a national scene. I don’t even know how the hell to describe it, but it’s brilliant.

I’m not sure if what the Hardy brothers are doing right now is a master plan, or if they lucked into it. Their most recent feud started off as a serious affair, but when Matt became “broken” it took a turn for the worse. Then, they dove all-in on the ridiculousness of it, and it’s become must-see wrestling TV.

Final Deletion was surprisingly progressive humor for wrestling. This wasn’t Hornswoggle and Great Khali dancing, or R-Truth and Goldust at a restaurant, this was more of an Adult Swim type skit/match. Many fans hated it, but it was something unique and got people talking about TNA again. For those who are into this style of humor, Impact is worth watching solely to see what the two will do next.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
