TNA has been around since 2002, and has gone through a lot of big changes in that time. They went from hosting weekly $10 pay-per-views, to moving to a one hour Friday afternoon timeslot, to landing on Spike TV and bringing in over a million fans to their show every week. That upward momentum didn't last forever.

After the Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff era ended, the company was in near financial ruin, and fans were leaving Impact left and right. The audience was frustrated over nonsensical storylines, too much emphasis on authority figures, and way too many former WWE and WCW stars hogging the spotlight.

In 2016, TNA is in a better place than they have been the past few years, at least from an entertainment standpoint. While they still have major money problems, and some flawed booking issues, Impact is consistently a better program than they have been in years.

If you’ve given up on TNA at some point (and you’re not alone, about two thirds Lasof their audience has abandoned ship since their peak), here are 8 reasons to start watching again.

Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
