7. Kane And Rob Van Dam

Speaking of two Superstars you would never expect to be on the same page, Kane and Rob Van Dam were quite the cohesive unit when they paired up in 2003. Neither of them were doing much of note at the time, but as soon as they came together, they found instant chemistry as partners.

Kane and RVD reigned as World Tag Team champions for a mere two-and-a-half months, but it was a fun run and they were a welcome addition to Raw's tag team division. But as soon as they dropped the straps at June's Bad Blood pay-per-view, the tandem dissolved with Kane turning on the one-of-a-kind competitor and igniting a rivalry between them that lasted through September.

Kane has been directionless for almost the entirety of 2016 and could use a significant storyline right now. Meanwhile, RVD has said in the past that he doesn't want to be brought back by WWE unless it's for a meaningful program, and thus placing him back in the tag division with The Big Red Monster would be a major boost for the blue brand.

As long as Kane doesn't unmask again this time, RVD should be safe. But their opponents surely wouldn't be.
