8 Tag Teams That Deserve One More WWE Run

6. John Morrison And The Miz

Unlike the aforementioned tandems, John Morrison and The Miz were a perfect fit for each other as soon as they started teaming up in the final few months of 2007. They quickly captured the WWE Tag Team Championship from MVP and Matt Hardy and then went on to develop excellent chemistry with each other, both in the ring and on the mic.

Their "Dirt Sheet" skits on WWE.com were nothing short of hysterical and the first real sign that superstars could get themselves over using the internet. But by the time they finally went their separate ways in the spring of 2009, the alliance had officially run its course. Miz and Morrison continued to feud with each other on-and-off for the next two and a half years, literally up until the night of Morrison's WWE departure in November 2011.

Morrison has since been absolutely killing it as Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground but is expected back in WWE sometime down the road (i.e. when he is contractually free to do so). Obviously, he'd be as big of a beneficiary of the Brand Extension as anyone, but it would be fun to see him reunite with The Awesome One and wreak havoc in the tag team scene on either Raw or SmackDown Live one last time. Be jealous!
