8 Terrible WWE Attires One Tweak Away From Excellence

5. Shawn Michaels

One Tweak: Red Is Dead.

Shawn Michaels hadn't learned a thing.

'The Heartbreak Kid' looked resplendent in white at 1995's 'Show Of Shows' just as he had one year prior in the same colour scheme, but Shawn Michaels hadn't yet put the key colour into his aesthetic to actually ascend to the top of the card.

In 1994, his pristine gear boasted bright white boots to match the tights but Shawn's attempt to upgrade them with a pair of red monstrosities undermined the hi-viz variants of the hearts down the side.

Like the actual match with Diesel, it was close to perfection but just didn't quite work. He'd finally get the threads right the following year, figuring out that gold was the key accompaniment to the white rather than red - he was at last dressing for the job he wanted. It was a slight shame the match wasn't a patch on his efforts over the prior two years.
