8 Things We Learned From Ryback On Talk Is Jericho

6. Vision Boards & Goals

Probably the main thing taken from this interview is that Ryback is a very motivated person who takes a driven and organized approach to the goals that he sets for himself. He tells of how he felt after getting fired from developmental, an act that he saw coming because of where he was in terms of his attitude and negative mindset. Suffering from depression drinking heavily, he was working at a restaurant when Luke Gallows came in one night and left him a $30 tip with instructions to run out to a bookstore and buy Rhonda Byrne's book The Secret. After pouring through the entire book in one night and repeatedly watching the DVD, Ryback went back and started training with Danny Davis. rededicating himself to his craft which eventually lead to him working his way back into WWE and getting resigned. As a means of keeping himself motivated Ryback has a meditation room with vision boards that he keeps all his goals outlined on for constant reminders to use a motivation to keep pushing to reach his milestones. It's an inspiring way of going about one's life.
