3. Kane
Throughout Rollins alignment with The Authority, he's been joined at the hip with Kane, a dude that's been in WWE since 1995. Whatever you would like to call Kane at this point is fine. Lately I've preferred Groan Inducing Kane, as opposed to Corporate Kane.
Nevertheless, his association with Rollins has seen them be boss and employee, friend and enemy, and finally protector and protected. During it all, the threat of a Kane vs. Rollins feud was bubbling, as it seemed Seth was one slick sentence away from being booked against The Big Red Machine. Rollins vs Kane wouldn't have drawn a dime.
If Randy Orton was a lacklustre challenger to Rollins, Kane would have been a disaster. His character is so destroyed at this point, it can only be justified by shrugging and running down his entire history of foolishness.
As previously mentioned, Kane was involved in finishes to WWE World Heavyweight title matches....IN 2015. Why WWE has decided to make a guy who is 15 years past his prime a key player in the story of a man who's been called "The Future Of WWE" has yet to be defined. Whatever the reason is, we'll surely get an answer after SummerSlam.
