8 Things To Look Forward To When Wrestling Goes Back To Normal

Although most wrestlers were able to perform during the lockdown, many either had or still are taking time off due to circumstances beyond their control.

The return of WWE superstars such as Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns were exciting. Roman, in particular, used his time away to evolve and come back to the WWE better than ever before with his new and enticing 'Tribal Chief' gimmick.

AEW saw many wrestlers unable to show up throughout the year, this was due to the companies roster being more spaced out in terms of where they are located geographically than the WWE's. This made for many exciting returns to the roster such as Rey Fénix and Pentagón Jr. who went on to forge an alliance with The Butcher, The Blade and Eddie Kingston.

There are still a number of wrestlers yet to return, one of the most noteworthy being AEW's PAC who hasn't been seen since March of 2020. When he does finally return it will be interesting to see what direction he goes in, as before his hiatus he had just started teaming with the aforementioned Fénix and Pentagón as the trio known as Death Triangle.
