Although for the most part wrestling companies have soldered on, still putting on matches and events they had promised, some matches were unfortunately forced to be postponed for the time being. Two of the most notable coming from AEW and NXT.

In the case of NXT, before the pandemic ruined everything, current NXT UK Champion WALTER was set to collide with current NXT Champion Finn Balor (a title which he didn't hold at the time). This would have been the first time WALTER and Balor would have faced off in the ring in their respective careers, and is a dream match of fans of both WWE and independent wrestling. The two were just starting their feud when it was promptly cancelled due to the travel restriction situation.

AEW had to cancel their planned Blood and Guts match which would have been a concept similar to War Games. It would have seen the Inner Circle face off against The Elite and Matt Hardy.

There's no way of knowing if the matches will now ever go ahead such is the nature of professional wrestling, however if and when they do it can be assured that they were worth the wait.
