4. The Rockers Never Winning The Tag Titles

The Rockers were one of the most exciting, cohesive teams of all-time, and despite the fact that they're so fondly remembered, their run in WWE was relatively short - lasting a mere four years - and they never once carried the gold around their waists. A championship reign almost came their way but was snatched away by the cruel hands of fate. During a match with the Hart Foundation on Saturday Night's Main Event, the Rockers went over and took the titles from the champs. The only problem was the ring ropes broke early on in the bout and after attempts to salvage the match during the editing process failed the contest had to be scrapped entirely. And that was it. The company decided to "go in a different direction." Shawn says he never heard a definitive reason why they were never given the belts and amusingly says "the internet guys the reasons behind that" but that he himself has no idea.
