8 Things We Learned From Steve Austin On Stephanie McMahon's WWE Show

6. The Broken Skull Set Is Surprisingly Small

Some who tuned into Steve’s sit-down interviews with the likes of The Undertaker, Charlotte Flair and Cody Rhodes might’ve figured it was housed in some fancy WWE building. Nope, the set for Steve's old WWE Network favourite is on Austin’s ranch, and the place is actually really rather small.

Fans got to see it from a different perspective on ESPN.

There isn’t much room between the door, the “Broken Skull Bar” or the desk itself where Austin conducts his interviews. McMahon, who has been around a lot of studios in her time, seemed a tad taken aback by that. However, 'Stone Cold' has made the most of the space he set aside for Broken Skull Sessions. No floor space is really wasted unless they're trying to give space for cameras or make the place seem bigger on air.

Interestingly, Stephanie asked why she was never on the show. Austin said she was supposed to be, but McMahon says she was never asked by anyone behind the scenes. That's a good point, actually. Steph would've been an engaging guest to have on Broken Skull, because she's been around the industry her entire life and can give unique slants on some of WWE's biggest or most shocking moments.

It didn't happen during the initial Broken Skull run, but who knows what might happen in the future? At least Steve and Stephanie got to catch up and hang out on ESPN, if nothing else. They've got sufficient chemistry to merit a deeper dive into their respective runs though. That's a real must, even if it's just for the epic WWE Vault channel on YouTube.
