8 Things We Learned From WWE Creation And Destruction: Triple H's Road To WrestleMania

5. NXT Morale Is The Opposite Of The Main Roster

If we learned anything from Jon Moxley's sensational diatribe in the direction his ex-employers on Chris Jericho's Talk is Jericho podcast this past week, it's that everything we thought we knew about locker-room morale within the Big E (no, not him) is completely and absolutely accurate.

The former Dean Ambrose mithered for almost two hours about his persistent and pervasive creative frustrations constantly trying to tug in the opposite direction to a team of writers generally doing the same to an audience of one. The sense of cathartic release as his long pent-up gripes gushed out was palpable - and as far as we're led to believe, there's a whole clutch of colleagues who feel the exact same way.

That doesn't seem to be the case in the secret haven of NXT, as made emphatically clear in this documentary. Obviously the company are sanitising for the camera somewhat, but the sense of camaraderie, contentment, and accomplishment was totally evident following the black and gold's phenomenally successful New York TakeOver. We've not heard of any talent at Full Sail dissatisfied with their position, or even lack of progression. If they know what's good for them, they'll want to stay put as long as possible.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
