John Cena is one of the most polarizing figures in wrestling history because he elicits a mixed response from just about every single crowd he performs in front of. The fans who love him do so because he stands for all that is good, but the fans who despise him feel that way because he hasn't changed his character in many years and usually hits the same big moves in every single match. Because of this live/hate relationship with the fans, Cena typically gets two different chants from both sides of the crowd. His followers chant "Let's go Cena" while his haters respond with "Cena sucks." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mXj3LhWmNg In many cases, WWE would have simply turned a Superstar heel once they started getting a bad reaction, but Cena is too valuable as the babyface at the forefront of WWE to make that change. He sells too much merchandise to all the little kiddies and his charity work would make it very hard to paint him in a negative light. It's got to be tough to walk through that curtain knowing full well that many of the people in the audience don't like you, but Cena takes it all in stride and continues to deliver great performances week after week.
