Pro wrestling is known for many things like violence, humor, colorful characters and usually a chair shot or two, but one thing that makes it more fun than any other event if the level of participation from the crowd. Unlike most sports, wrestling fans don't just have one team to root for, they have many favorite Superstars and Divas. All sporting events have fans who are intense, but it's different at a WWE event. Throughout an entire show, fans are always chanting something to show appreciation or disdain for what they are witnessing. Sometimes it's a bandwagon thing where they just like to be part of the moment, but most of the time its a sign of respect for what is going on in the ring. A typical three-hour show will usually see over a dozen different things chanted by the crowd, whether it's the name of a Superstar or a signature chant like "Suck it." It's part of the experience of attending a WWE show, especially for younger fans. We make signs for our favorites, buy the shirts and scream at the top of our lungs until we lose our voices. This slideshow will look at some of the more popular chants we hear at almost every WWE show and why we say them over and over again.
