1. KENTA Is Co-Signed By William Regal
Within the past 18 months, William Regal's role in WWE has evolved from that of in-ring competitor to global talent scout. Intriguingly, while still an active in-ring competitor, Regal had a major hand in the development of WWE's top star Daniel Bryan. This may be why Regal is so keenly aware of talents like KENTA, who wrestled Bryan (and those who are now WWE wrestlers who were contemporaries of Bryan's as indy wrestlers) in the same era. Of course, given that Regal was so influential in the development too of now WWE Executive Vice President Triple H, the suggestion of WWE signing KENTA to a developmental deal likely has more considerable impetus behind it to occur.
