8 Things WWE Want You To Forget About The Raw After WrestleMania

After being forced to cope with all sorts of scheduling jiggery pokery during the original post-WrestleMania Raw, WWE smartly elected to go live after every 'Show Of Shows'. The season finale feel of 1994's supercard ultimately superseded storyline development though - only new WWE Champion Bret Hart's in-ring interview moved any angles forward following his loss to brother Owen a night earlier.

A year later and WWE produced what could be considered the first 'true' post-WrestleMania Raw. The event included a major Women's Title win for Alundra Blayze over Bull Nakano that introduced brand new threat Bertha Faye to the world, whilst Shawn Michaels turned babyface in a powerful segment with ex-communicated bodyguard Sid... that didn't even air live.

Again thinking on how to keep fans on the hook rather than just super-serve them, the company elected to have the vicious attack take place during the show's last commercial break. There was a certain drama to the scene - Raw faded to the ads with motormouth Shawn tearing up the place and returned with him flat on his face.

Diesel ran in to make the save, but viewers were left to wait at least until the weekend to find out the fate of their favourites.
