6. Why He Got Into Wrestling

Like most who get into our great sport, Mansoor was entirely besotted once he'd been bitten by the wrestling bug. As he described during a Reddit AMA, it was during a stay over at a tutor's house in 2003 that he went through the dark portal, his attention grabbed by Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar's epic Iron Man match on SmackDown. Mansoor, 23, was just eight-years old at the time - the optimal age for pro-wrestling conversion.

Though the series of tragedies which blighted the industry swept away the magic as Mansoor entered his teens, his older brother rekindled his passion in 2012, with a little help from Daniel Bryan. He took a lot of inspiration from the everyman underdog, encouraged that he could achieve his dream no matter his "weight, height, even ethnicity." He's certainly went some way towards proving that.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
