8 Times WWE Failed To Make New Stars In 2015

4. Cesaro

Cesaro is perhaps the most baffling case on the entire WWE roster. An immensely talented worker who has praise heaped upon him by fans, peers, legends and media, the Swiss Superman just can€™t catch a break when it comes to the people in charge. He€™s experienced nearly as many stop and start pushes as Wade Barrett and every time the crowd support starts to swell behind him he€™s cut off at the knees. We€™re all well aware of the famous Vince McMahon quotes about Cesaro not connecting with the audience, which suggests that he€™s either senile, an outright liar or doesn€™t watch his own product because it€™s indisputably false. Nevertheless, it just illustrates what an obstacle Cesaro will have to overcome if he€™s ever to break through the glass ceiling and grab the proverbial brass ring that the Chairman is so fond of speaking of. 2014 was a catastrophic year for Cesaro as his momentum was stalled after pairing him with Paul Heyman. A tag team with Tyson Kidd got him back on the right track but Kidd€™s injury put a halt to that as well. Once he returned to singles action, there have been several instances this year where Cesaro was kept bubbling just below the surface while WWE stubbornly ignored the cries from the Cesaro Section. Hopefully when he returns from injury they'll realize the error of their ways and capitalize on the support he'll receive from a fan base that will no doubt be stoked to have him back.
