3. No Mercy

WWE absolutely bloody loved the title 'No Mercy' in 1999. After trialing the mantle with a UK exclusive PPV from Manchester, featuring such must-see matches as Gillberg vs. Tiger Ali Singh and Nicole Bass vs. Tori, the company went with it again for Triple H and Steve Austin's Anything Goes clash later that autumn.

No Mercy was also picked as the name for the follow-up to Asmik Ace/AKI's superb game WrestleMania 2000. The Nintendo 64 grappler released to widespread critical acclaim, and remains one of the most beloved wrestling games nearly two decades after it came out.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
