8 UFC Fighters That Went To War With Dana White

4. Frank Shamrock (21-10-2)

One of the few feuds on this list that has a genuine likelihood of never being solved, Dana White and Frank Shamrock have been butting heads since the early days of the sport.

Shamrock was one of the first complete mixed martial artists and consistently proved his talents in the Octagon, becoming the inaugural UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in 1997, before retiring feeling like he had nothing left to prove in the fight business.

However, much like his brother Ken, Frank never managed to formulate a consistently stable relationship with the UFC president.

In the years following Dana's installation as the public figurehead of the UFC, he has engaged in several spats with Shamrock, both in the press and on social media.

One only needs to make a cursory search of Twitter to find a small selection of the barbs the men have aimed at each other:

In a move many see as a byproduct of Dana's resentment of the MMA pioneer, Shamrock has yet to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame despite his accomplishments within the organisation.

Things heated up even further when Shamrock made some serious accusations in 2018 after the UFC signed former NFL star Greg Hardy.

Making such inflammatory claims without substantive evidence, it is highly unlikely that Shamrock and White will ever reconcile.
