8 Ups & 0 Downs From Impact Wrestling Emergence 2020 (Part 1)
6. Big Beefy Boys (And Ace Austin)
The Good Brothers vs. Madman Fulton and Ace Austin was never going to be anything short of spectacular. It's just what happens when you put a handful of big beefy boys in the ring together, alongside a smaller lad to make the opposing big guys look far more destructive than they already are.
Despite being portrayed as the classic cocky heel and bodyguard duo, Fulton and Austin have really gelled together as a team, keeping the match confined to their corner of the ring for periods of the match, while focusing on wearing down Karl Anderson's back. Once 'The Machine Gun' made the tag, however, we were reminded of just how good Doc Gallows' hot tag is. 'The Big LG' came in all guns blazing, taking out both opponents like it was nothing. A Magic Killer to 'The One True Ace' after Fulton took a comedic tumble over the guard rail ensured Gallows and Anderson remained undefeated in Impact thus far.
An alright tag team match here, with what can only be described as the correct result. Every interaction between the four has made for something great, but you'd have to imagine the rivalry has reached its culmination. Perhaps Gallows and Anderson can now enter the championship picture?
