8 Ups & 0 Downs From Impact Wrestling Emergence 2020 (Part 1)
3. Most Professional Wrestler
As has been the case with the majority of the Black Wednesday WWE releases who have arrived in Impact Wrestling since departing the company, Brian Myers has made two appearances thus far, and has already been made into a bigger star than he ever was in his most recent WWE run.
Last week, he challenged Eddie Edwards for the World Championship, albeit unsuccessfully, whereas this week, he gatecrashed Willie Mack's interview slot with Jimmy Jacobs to take the time for himself. It was during this time where 'The Prince of Queens' cut quite the scathing promo towards his former employer, stating that he did everything that was asked of him, only to be fired with a pregnant wife at home. Additionally, Myers added that he's sick and tired of major decisions within the wrestling industry are made by 'some 70-year-old man'.
It's amazing that Impact know exactly what to do with all of these recently released WWE talents, even though WWE did nothing of note with them for years. The artist formerly known as Curt Hawkins joins the likes of Eric Young, Heath, and The Good Brothers in being immediately established as something other than card fodder.
