5. Straight To The Point

LA Knight Logan Paul

This sort of skit would've been a lengthy chore under latter-day Vince McMahon. The old boss would've let the segment drone on, thus losing all its energy before the payoff. Triple H decided to keep things on the shorter side and get to the point rapid. LA Knight's bit with Santos Escobar and Logan Paul was better for it.

What's that about WWE cooking?! They are.

There was nothing fancy about Knight's promo, Escobar's interruption or Paul's attack, but it served two masters. One, next week's Triple Threat for Money In The Bank qualification. Two, the inevitable LA vs. LP showdown at SummerSlam. No-one can argue with this kind of formatting, especially when it sets up multiple matches with clear context backing both up.

People in Glasgow were a wee bit bummed out they didn't see LA in person last week, so Chicago's masses were thrilled to see him in their town. Putting Knight in MITB, then having Logan scupper that as well, sounds like the best course of action over the next fortnight.
