8 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (Jun 16)
1. Northern Domination
In what many believed to be The North's final night as the Impact World Tag Team Champions, Ethan Page and Josh Alexander would instead stop Dez and Wentz in their tracks to continue on their reign as the doubles champs. With no title defences currently scheduled, it's all but confirmed that 'All Ego' and 'The Walking Weapon' will make it to one full year with the straps around their waists.
Granted, The Rascalz did give the Canadian duo the fight of their lives, becoming the closest pairing to dethrone them thus far. Their quick-paced style made it far more difficult for Ethan and Josh to inflict their usual arsenal on them, although a point did come towards the end of the bout where Page caught Dez mid-flight, and just dumped him over the guardrail like it was nothing. A small thing on the part of Page, but it certainly established the sheer dominance of the former Monster Mafia.
A Northern Assault to Wentz secured a win for The North, with their record-breaking reign now sitting at 350 days at the time of writing. There's no-one who can prevent Page and Alexander from being champions for a full year. They've seen off all-comers since last July, from full-fledged teams to singles stars forming a union in pursuit of championship gold, something that won't be changing anytime soon if they have their way.
