8 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (Jun 16)

Downs...

1. Here We Go Again

Rohit Raju. Give the man a break.

The continued failures of 'The Desi Hitman' have become a bit of a recurring joke in these columns, which, simply put, shouldn't be the case. He's put The Desi Hit Squad to the backburner to focus on himself, and yet, Raju still can't get a big win. Anytime he does, it's always ruined by the aftermath. He battled Rhino in singles action this week, a match that stemmed off that very fact. 'The War Machine', for no reason whatsoever, ambushed Rohit following his win over Chase Stevens a couple weeks back.

To be fair to the guy, things were going well for Rohit in the early going. He blindsided Rhino during his entrance, proceeding to use the environment to his advantage. His trademark pouncing knee connected with Rhino's jaw, but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. A missed double stomp led Rohit into a Gore, and that was that. Another tick in the loss column for Rohit Raju.

This needs to end. Impact have a bonafide X division star on their hands, and they're refusing to give him the recognition he deserves. Change is needed.
