4. Good Signs For Big E

A number of wrestling news outlets reported that a Big E singles push will soon be on the way, and that he'll likely represent The New Day at Money In The Bank. If true, matches like last night's versus The Miz bode well. While nothing blow-away, it was as good as you'd expect from WWE's most complete all-round performer and The New Day's most pushable star.

They delivered 11 minutes of back-and-forth action, with the trio bantering it up by taking E out for a mid-match syrup break, and 'The A-Lister' at his hard-heeling best. E's power was on full display, too, particularly during a late belly-to-belly suplex flurry, but Miz found a way to cut the big man off every time he started rolling.

While muddy, the finish worked. Miz countered his way out of the Big Ending, and out came The Bar, who clobbered Woods and Kingston. This distracted E long enough for Miz to come in with the Skull Crushing Finale for the victory. He looks like a cunning, sneaky opportunist, while E stays protected, and the ongoing New Day vs. Sheamus and Cesaro storyline continues. Win, win, win.
