8 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (12 August)

7. "Blood Is On Your Hands, Brother"

AEW Collision Ricky Starks
AEW

Following last week's brutal beatdown of Ricky Steamboat, this latest Collision opened with the news that Ricky Starks has been suspended from in-ring competition for 30 days.

As a result of this suspension, we got treated to an extremely fired-up Stroke Daddy, who justified his actions by saying what he did to Steamboat hurt Starks more than it hurt the Dragon. The former FTW Champion also made it clear that his rivalry with CM Punk was far from over, detailing how he's bringing war to AEW, and how the figurative blood of Steamboat was on Punk's hands.

Interestingly, Starks also noted how he'll still remain a presence on Collision throughout that suspension, as he's managed to get himself a manager's license. Now that Starks has that license, the question is who exactly will Absolute manage?

Seeing as this suspension will rule out Ricky Starks from wrestling at both All In and All Out, could we maybe see the New Orleans native in the corner of one Samoa Joe when the Samoan Submission Machine locks horns with CM Punk at Wembley Stadium in two weeks? We'll have to wait and see...
