8 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (29 July)

2. Who Attacked Miro?

AEW Collision Aaron Solo Miro
AEW

The person who attacked Miro backstage on this latest AEW Collision was of course Aaron Solo. If you're new to AEW, though, you'd have zero idea who it was. Even if you're a semi-regular watcher of the AEW product, chances are you had to rewind this segment just to make clear who took a steel chair to the Redeemer in an extremely brief sequence.

The main issue here, is that the announcers made no mention of who had actually ended up getting laid out by Miro. All we got was a cut back to the arena, where Darby Allin made his entrance; Aaron Solo never once mentioned.

Given how Solo - who is a talented worker - is so often positioned as a total afterthought, the lack of any reference to his name here made him feel like even more of a goober.
