8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (November 29 - Results & Review)

1. The Devil Is Still Less Than Terrifying

MJF And Da Creepers
AEW

MJF cut a good and sorely needed promo, more on which later, but the post-match was lame.

He was attacked by the Devil's stablemates or henchmen or whatever. They're about as intimidating and over as the Dark Order creepers of 2019, and that they look visually identical (albeit a bit more ripped) is less than ideal.

Samoa Joe stormed the ring to protect MJF, who he wants at his best ahead of Worlds End. While that made sense, the Devil and his cohorts badly, desperately need credibility. They should have kicked seven bells of sh*t out of MJF a while ago. Then again, with this presentation, would it matter?

The lights flickered on and off ahead of their arrival. The Devil, via text scroll on the big screen, then requested a tag match with MJF and Joe next week. The AEW commentary team let viewers know that AEW's security team believe that the broadcast had been compromised or hacked "internally". Was this welcome confirmation that there is so supernatural bullsh*t afoot?

Possibly, but it's still very lame either way.
