2. The Street Profits Sell…Inconsistently!

Montez Ford Axiom

Yes, this is a very minor grumble, but it’s also one worth discussing if you're the kind of fan who likes consistency. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were selling their ribs after a brutal TLC bout recently. That was good to see, but there were a few too many times when both did things someone with wounded ribs just wouldn’t do. Case in point: Ford flipping through to pose for literally no reason after hitting a move.

Look, if you’re going to go to the trouble of selling injured ribs at all and make that the story of the match, then be smarter about it. That's all this fan expects. Ford and Angelo Dawkins moving freely one minute then not the next didn’t ruin their bout vs. Fraxiom or anything dramatic like that, but it was a bit confusing to see WWE workers so seasoned do this sort of thing.

They should know better. Hopefully, somebody pulled them aside behind the curtain and pointed out that flippy poses and things of that nature are fine if they make sense. Nobody with damaged ribs should be trying it mid-match and causing themselves more pain though! At least Montez had the decency to grit his teeth, clutch at his midsection and realise he'd made a mistake.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett covered for him by saying Tez just got caught up in the heat of battle. That's fair. Yep, a small gripe here, albeit one which sucked this viewer out of the occasion. The Profits shouldn't have been doing anything that hurt their own ribs without also trying to damage their opponents.

Simple as that. Who do they think they are? The Young Bucks?
