2. Why Do They Keep Doing This?

Let's get those 'Downs' out of the way pronto.

Butch has split from Ridge Holland, but he's seemingly right back to warring with Pretty Deadly anyway. This is something WWE keeps doing; they had Kevin Owens leave tag business behind on Raw, moved him to SmackDown and...immediately had him feud with a tag-team. It's weird to see the writers continue that trend.

Of course, this could all be setup for Sheamus returning, which would be the best case scenario. Being honest though, Pete Dunne probs needs to move on from the Brawling Brutes idea long-term regardless. His involvement with PD (Pretty Deadly, not himself!) is fairly unnecessary.

Perhaps that's unfair. Maybe it'd be fairer to wait and see how things shake out, but yours truly is just eager to see Dunne change back to his 'Bruiserweight' ways and become a stalwart addition to the midcard. His work is watertight, and he's capable of better overall.
